VTG Works Of Thackeray Set New Century Library Vanity Fair The Virginians Etc. Set of five antique small leather books from New Century Library. Set in sequence volumes 1-4, plus volume 9. Books in the set are as follows: Vol. 1 Vanity Fair. Vol. 2 The History of Pendennis. Vol. 3 The Newcomes. Vol. 4 The History of Henry Esmond, Esq. Edited by Thackeray. Vol. 9 The Virginians. Books measure about 6 1/4” x 4 1/4” each. Wear to the leather, some have folds or writing on first few pages, most interior pages in very good condition, some folds in a volume. Vol. 3 and 4 have placeholder ribbon attached, Vol. 2 has ribbon unattached but intact tucked between pages. Pre-owned with visible wear and damage. As-is. See photos.

The item was as described and of value but I was extremely disappointed by the shipping cost, double of what I would usually pay. I'm not sure how much control the seller has or if there is some money being made with the shipping but I know for sure that I was overcharged. I ordered the same necklace 4 times the week for resale and this was the highest shipping charge by far. Probably won't shop with them again
