Up for sale is a very scarce complete 12 volume set of the “Works of Eugene Fields” as published by Charles Scribner’s & Sons, 1904-1905. I'm selling them for the owner, who just wants to find them a good home so the set is priced very low.... CONDITION & DETAILS : This set is in overall Very Good condition but it is quite fragile and should be handled lightly and with care. In particular, the front cover of volume seven has started and is slightly loose, but still attached. It could benefit from perhaps some adhesive or supporting archival tape. There is some slight flaking of the leather to the spine edges of a few volumes here and there, but otherwise solid and still tight copies. Additionally, there are a few pages in a couple volumes, which apparently were uncut when published and the original owner tried to separate them causing a few small chips or tears to the paper as shown in photo #10. Otherwise super clean internally and a very nice and rare set! This is our 18 th year selling on eBay with a 100% satisfaction rating, so buy with confidence!
