Privately printed for Matthew Iley, London, by W. Shackell. Rare collectors set, 2 volumes in a nicely preserved half calf leather binding with marbled boards. The interior pages are clean and bright with some minor toning as shown. There is light rubbing/bumping to corners and edges, and minor shelf wear to the boards, spine and extremities as shown in our photos. The binding and hinges are in good condition. Item arrived well packaged and as described. One issue: description did not mention that the 40 page booklet that accompanies the records is missing. Perhaps the seller was unaware. This was still an exceptional value for a highly sought after box set with vinyl in superb condition. Knowing the book was missing would not have affected my decision to buy; however it would have been good to know.
