This six-volume set is a stunning deep dive into Danish cultural history, beautifully illustrated with vibrant color plates. The half-morocco bindings and marbled boards add a luxurious touch, and though there’s minor corner wear, the books remain sturdy and well-preserved. Each volume meticulously explores Denmark’s festive traditions from the 1600s to the early 1900s, making it a treasure for history lovers and collectors alike. A truly captivating piece of ethnography!
