Item as described and well packed. Thank you. However I don't recommend eBay shipping. They use DHL to deliver in the UK. I was sent a message that it was out for delivery 40 minutes before it was actually delivered when I was away for the day, so I didn't get the message until after it had been received by my kind neighbour. This is my second bad experience with eBay shipping from the US, which is not as good as USPS/Royal Mail.

The books arrived promptly and very well packaged. A few more volumes than noted in the description had totally detached end boards, which I wonder was from the shipping because despite the good packaging, the heavy box had clearly been harshly handled and tossed about. All pages were in good shape for books 125 years old! I am going to look forward to delving deeply into Burke's writings, which I have wanted to do for years!

Swifty shipped with vapor barrier, bubble wrap, and a sturdy corrugated cardboard carton to withstand any abuse from USPS. Item was exactly as noted the description given. An incredible value in excellent shape for an 1898 first release date, with only minor yellowing, and fading of colors, with a spine that showed little disrepair in over 127 years of use. Seller is top-notch in my estimation.
