Rare set being sold "AS-IS", worn condition. Vols. with rubbed and scuffed boards and leather, worn extremities, cracked hinges & end pages, tanned pages with some small stains. Each vol. with two plates. 309 p.,307 p., 329 p. Vol.1 with badly cracked front hinge with board splitting up from the bottom end, leaving it holding by upper threads only. Also, the front end-page is cracked and splitting at seams, as is the frontis./title seam which is splitting up from bottom end. Vol. 2 has a front hinge that has completely busted open to the spine. Vol. 3 has is cracked at frontis/ title seam, has some brittle/ chipped page edges, & several stained pages toward the end of the vol. from i believe a pressed flower. SEE pics!
