Rousseau. Published by A. Neuchatel/Chez Duchesne, Librairie, Paris, 1764. Second Edition, reportedly from a limited printing of 750 copies. With engraved illustrations (First Illustrated Edition). IN FRENCH. Bound in full leather. Books are clean and show light general wear. It appears that a bookplate had been adhered to front endpaper and has been removed. There is a touch of wear to heads of spines with some minimal leather loss. There is also some pocking/speckling to leather covers--likely the result of age. Remains a Very Good set--clean, tight, complete. Books measure 5 1/4 X 7 7/8. This is a VERY SCARCE set--A SCARCE FEW copies of this work can be found on other internet booksites for upwards of $2100!!!!!!!
