This set is not complete. Set #1. This is set number one out of 100. Printed in 1899. These are extremely large books. Bound in the highest grade Morocco leather, printed on rag paper. Very good condition overall, except for volume VII which is beat up and cover cracked and chipped spine. Main issue is set only has 8 volumes. Not complete. Volume seven is damaged. More volumes are in a separate listing. I don’t think I have the whole set. These are the original leather bindings. Theleather is the highest grade Morocco leather. These are genuine leather. Extremely well preserved for being over 100 years old. Some minor external wear as shown in the pictures. A nice antiquarian set worthy of gifting. Only issue is that the set isn’t complete. If complete this set would sell for over $1000, and would likely sell even higher with this being set #1.
