From Regal Books: -- One of the most regal and ornate sets Easton Press has produced. It goes without saying that such an august set will make a huge statement in any leather bound library. This set includes highlights of prominent rulers beginning with William the Conqueror, through Plantagenets, Tudors, Stewarts, Hanovers to Saxe-Coburg (which transitions to Windsor). As these biographies also naturally contain the history of the times around these rulers, there will be some coverage of other personalities and rulers that fill in some gaps. Each volume has the crest of the house the ruler belongs to emblazoned on the boards in beautiful crimson leather, multi tone details, and gold gilt design. This is one of my personal favorite sets of all the issuance from Easton Press and I keep a set in my own library! --- My exterior photos are a little dark. I plan to redo them. This is a very brilliant and beautiful red/black/gold set. The open volumes: Leather is bright with only little sign of shelf wear. Little marr to gilt page ends for a large set. This is almost certainly one of the best sets in terms of condition you are likely to come across. They have clearly been well stored, are crisp, and have no spotting under the plastic you sometimes see with poorly stored books even in the plastic. Truly outstanding! My main exterior photos came out a little dark and my upper board photos (two uppers on first photo) from long ago were a little blown out to be too bright. The leather is crimson and just a bit brighter than my cover photos. ***Stock photos of illustrations are from a completely open set I sold previously. The disc case and blu-ray discs arrived safely in the described condition (like new). The discs play back correctly as well. I think the item was extremely good value, and it even came with free shipping, sent to post on the same day! The seller also sent a prompt informational message about how it was shipped, what to expect from shipping, and some details about them. This was a very nice experience all around; I would very much purchase media from this seller again.
