Goethes werke this is a 4 book lot which came from a 5 vol set in the german language. I do not know German so I am unable to read and post in here the publisher. There are no dates in the book but this set is circa 1880 to 1910. The lot includes 4 out of the 5 vols vols 2,3,4,and 5 are included. Vol 1 of the 5 vol book set is not included. The gold gild on the books front boards are in good condition. The gold gild on the spines are faded and the spines have heavy wear with most wear at the top and bottoms. The bindings are tight and the pages are clean to all the books. There are illustrated black and white plates in the books. There are also many black and white illustrations throughout. The corners to all books are bent and bumped.

Item came incredible fast. Packaging could have been a LITTLE better. It caused a dent in the back of the book. Otherwise incredible item. So happy to have it and the seller was beyond kind.
