This SCARCE UNREAD Leather Limited Edition book set from The Franklin Mint is in VIRTUALLY PERFECT condition with no markings inside or out and no attached bookplates. Both of these gorgeous matching books are totally unused. Neither have any imperfections or even any wear anywhere. They are both equivalent to freshly unwrapped brand new books. In the Franklin Library's "The World's Best-Loved Books" series, there isn't a "Histories" part because that genre of Shakespeare's plays wasn't nearly as popular. There is a "Poems of William Shakespeare" book in the series, but it doesn't match and is a very small book. I say this because I see these two books as clear siblings and a complete set in this series. Both are scarce books and of the highest quality in all respects. And they are both here in pristine, original condition. I do have the accompanying Notes From the Editors booklet for the 'Comedies' component of the set but not the 'Tragedies' part.
