Covers are separating (more on frank Fairleigh than Arundel) but still intact. Hinges and binding are good but not perfect (not perfectly tight but all together). 3/4 leather covers. Significant chip on one volume. Unknown if this is a complete set, but seems like there was one more. Fantastically Illustrated by George Cruikshank and Hablot Knight Browne. Pages in great shape with no browning or foxing. Unknown date. Likely around 1900. "Frank fairlegh, Or, scenes from the life Of a private pupil with illustrations by George cruikshank. 30 illustrations from the original steel plates. Is New York, new Amsterdam book company, London, Downey and CO." "Lewis Arundel, Or, the railroad of life. With 42 illustrations by "phiz" (Hablot Knight Browne) from the original steel plates."
