A matched pair, integrated amplifier and tuner The amplifier is working with flaws as follows: the graphic equalizer doesn't seem to be working, and the 250Hz band is erratic in operation, maxing out volume if pushed to the top; there is occasional distortion in the balance and volume when adjusting (it is very slight) but not when left alone; and the loudness control only has a slight impact on the sound when actuated (that may be normal, it is hard to know). Sound is good when the amplifier is set and not being adjusted, so this amp can be used as it is. The tuner and aux inputs were tested as good. We didn't test Phono and Tape Monitor. You may want to have this amp serviced to ensure full and smooth operation. The tuner passed all our tests and appears to be working properly. It has a good antenna on the back. The tuner matches the amplifier cosmetically and it has the interconnecting power cord attached to supply power to it from the amplifier. We are also including the patch cord shown. You can use the amplifier on its own without the tuner. You can also use the tuner with another system if you replace the power cord with one with a standard 120V plug on the end. Physical condition of each unit is very good, with just a scratch to the top of the amplifier as shown, plus other normal signs of age and handling. 15-3/4" wide x 11" deep x 5-1/4" high overall, the amplifier is 3" high by itself. The tuner is rare and very hard to find.
