KX-200 and X-200 (factory built) Amplifier Resto-Pak kit contains new heavy-duty power supply rectifiers and all critical signal and coupling capacitors including all small electrolytics. The restoration process is quite comprehensive and involves (among MANY other things) the replacement of ALL signal, coupling and bypass capacitors. This includes ALL mylar and small electrolytic capacitors. THESE ARE ALL INCLUDED in our Resto-Pak! KX-200 kit also includes parts and info for PROPERLY re-calibrating the bias meter to achieve CORRECT biasing! All original KX-200 amps provide for a bias level that is excessive which results in overheating, premature output tube aging and eventual failure. In addition to the included required parts - capacitors, diodes, and resistor - THREE manuals are included - Service manual, operating manual, and complete restoration guide. Service manual contains schematic, adjustment instructions, and parts list. Restoration guide contains full information on replacement of included parts as well as information on cleaning, adjustments, and other important facts not covered in the service manual.
