Description

1950s Fisher 500 mono receiver in working condition but needs some other minor servicing. This received a basic service job with new coupling capacitors and bias capacitors installed. New matched pair of Svetlena 6L6GC power tubes and newer 12AX7 preamp tubes were installed as well. Radio tubes are original. It sounds great and idles quiet. The FM tuner works fine (see video). It needs an antenna. I used a wire for an antenna to make the video and even with that I was pulling in stations pretty good so a nice antenna should give it excellent reception. The am antenna's Bakelite bracket is broken and needs to be epoxied to repair it and re-install it if you plan to listen to AM radio (see photo). Some of the knobs were missing so I installed what I had that would fit it for now to make it functional. What you see is what you get. Ask any questions you may have before you bid.
