Fisher 400 FM Stereo Receiver with Original Box Needs Vacuum Tubes!!! LOOKS Great!!! Up for sale is a Fisher 400 FM Stereo Receiver with Original Box. As the photos show, this is in great condition for its age. The receiver works fine, but when I select FM mono, reception is fine, but when I select FM stereo, noise occurs. Therefore, it seems that the FM section needs to be adjusted. One of the main CAN capacitors was defective, so I partially recapped it. Vacuum tubes are not included. Original box is included but is in poor condition. Please look at all the pictures for an over all condition, before bidding. Tape machine in excellent condition as advertised. Prompt shipping. This was a very heavy unit and seller had it incredibly well packaged. Wrapped in foam in inner box, surrounded by more foam in second outer box. Kudos for such a superb job.
