The front and back covers of Volume 1 are in Absolute Mint condition and Volume 2 shows some wear around the edges. The bindings are tight and square without spine lean. The slipcases are in Fantastic condition showing only minor wear (only to volume 2). The pages are white, crisp and clean and there is no writing or markings in these books. This set was published by The Folio Society and would be a beautiful addition to your collection. Overall, this copy is a grade collector's book.
