The spines are ribbed and the page edges have a gold gilt. The spines, boards, and page edges are decorated with 22k gold gilt. The books are printed on archival quality paper, have Smyth-sewn pages (so the books will lay open on a table) and come with a satin page ribbon/marker as well as moire end-pages. Volume I is still sealed in original factory shrink wrap. Volume II - The binding is strong. The pages are clean. There are a few light marks on the gilded page edges. No bookplate is attached or included From a smoke-free home. See pictures I will package the books well, using bubble wrap in a box to ensure they arrive the same way they look now.
