These wonderful dark red leather bound, published by Collins, the Clear Type Press series. Collins' Clear Type Press was a Scottish publishing company founded in 1892 by William Collins III (1846-1906), the son of William Collins (William Collins Sons & Co., Ltd.) The company published 1st novel written by Arthur Conan Doyle. These delightful books are a small format with each book measures 4″ x 6″. This wonderful group of books date from around the 1920s and are leather bound in deep red with gilt text and emblems on the spines. The books are in decent condition for their age but not perfect. Titles are The Queen's Necklace, Treasure Island, Ben Hur, The Conspirators and The Talisman. I've included a Junior Red Cross page from 1952 that I found in one of the books.
