The books were produced in a LIMITED EDITION of 1500 copies. Each book has the following high quality features: - each volume is an facsimile of the original edition, custom bound in beautiful dark-brown quarter-leather with cloth covered boards (each book cloth a different color), with the wolfe logo in gilt on the front cover and gilt lettering on the spine. - pages are edged in gold on all three sides. - fine endpaper's with a repeating wolfe pattern. - pages are sewn, not glued. - covers stamped in 22-k gold. - acid-free paper to last for generations - satin ribbon marker - books vary in size. ************************************************************ - All of the volumes are profusely illustrated, with black and white photographs, engravings, fold-out maps, or drawings. ******************************** ALL OF THE BOOKS HAVE A LIMITED EDITION #372/1500 COPIES. Gold-gilt stamped lettering on ribbed spines, gold-gilt stamped "wolfs head" logo on front cover. Gold-gilt edged pages and a silk ribbon marker in each volume. A very high quality set of classic gun and hunting titles done by the Wolfe Publishing Company. Most of these were produced from 1st editions and original printings which were procured by David Wolfe (deceased) especially for this project.
