Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 2 Volume Illustrated Leather Book Set Entitled "The Crowned Gems of France - Royal Edition", published in 1902 by The St. Hubert Guild Akron Ohio USA . The First Book is Entitled " Mlle. De La Seigliere " by Jules Sandeau , and the Second Volume is Entitled " The King Of The Mountains " by Edmond About . Each Volume measures approx. 5 3/4" x 8 1/2". There is some Dust and Shelf Wear to the Leather Spine from age, As Pictured. Click and Enlarge Photos for Details. The Pages are Clean and the Binding is Tight! Overall Good Condition, as pictured! Clock arrived in pristine condition, packing was exquisite; physical description accurate. I will take it to my clock man to go through the movement to access for needed work, but so far I am very, very impressed and happy with everything. I haven't seen such careful packing in a long time and it was everything seller said when responding to my questions about securing safe passage.

The packaging was very good however Fedex still caused significant damage to the clock. Fortunately the glass dome was not damaged due to the good packing. The clock was separated from the column and a piece of the column was broken off. Other than this damage the clock was as described. Fedex shipping left a lot to be desired even though the box was clearly labeled as fragile.
