Volumes are uniformly bound in 1/2 brown leather over pebbled boards. Gilt lettering to spines remains clear and bright. Some general light to heavy wear to exterior, with a touch of soiling to same. Some heavier wear in a few places at extremities, with an approximately 1/2" x 1/2" chip to head of spine of volume 1. A little foxing to pages. Minor, unobtrusive tears to extremities of just a few pages. Texts are clean and bindings sound. A user friendly and still mostly attractive set. Seller Inventory # 039352
