The book arrived in the near-new condition described, due to the abundance of tightly-wrapped padding surrounding it in its box. Shipping was quick, too. Obviously I can't speak to the contents of the book, itself, yet, but, at the stage of simply having received it, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and looking forward to the author's guidance through ancient times and places.

Wow this arrived so quickly! I ordered it on Friday midday and it arrived on a Monday. It was extremely well packaged to handle the unknowns of the postal service. For the age of the books I'm very pleased with the condition of them as it was listed.
