Leather: Fair 12" x 10", 1,408pp. Published 1879-1883. Handsomely bound in half leather over pebbled cloth with elaborate gilt ornamentation on the cover and gilt edges. Volumes II & III are solid copies in very good condition internally with scuffing to the leather. Vol II has a short tear on the rear joint. The contents of Volume I are in very good condition; the leather is scuffed and the hinges are weak (but holding) , the backstrip is split along the rear joint, but holding on the front joint.
