I will be listing some more Select and Rare Old and Vintage Books this week. ___________________________________________ Here is a Scarce 1847 COMPLETE 3-VOLUME LEATHER BOUND SET OF "THE POETICAL WORKS OF PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY. EDITED BY MRS. SHELLEY". London: Edward Moxon. 1847. Complete texts. Books are 6-5/8" x 4-1/4". Bound in nice old green full leather bindings with marbled end paper with dentelle borders. All page edges gilded. Silk ribbon bookmarks. Condition: There is chipping and cracking to the thin leather title and volume leather labels on spine (some lifting spots there, so more chipping is possible there- needs to be handled with care). Spine color has browned. All covers still attached well. Text and bindings still together well. No bookplates in volumes. There is very small old owner's name "J.D. Williams" in pencil on a front blank page of Vol.3. Vintage dealer pencil notations in top corner of front blank leaf and top corner of Dedication Page (see photos). No other marking in volumes I noticed. Interior pages in mostly nice condition, with a few pages with blemish spots. No binder's name I could find.
