He had a major impact on European and American literature." Light wear to covers and spines as shown with some minor rub through. Probable late 1800's rebinds. One or 2 covers a tad bent out of shape. Prelim pages with foxing including illustrated title pages however the vast majority of the contents of all 6 volumes are quite clean with only the odd age spot. Marbled text block edges have faded. Binding is excellent across all 6 volumes with no loose pages. A very nice set of early Walter Scott works in good to very good condition overall. Please study photos to understand condition.
