With an engraved frontispiece to each volume. Retaining the original half titles. With errata to the rear of volume II. With modern 1985 bookplates reading 'Claes Uggla' to front pastedowns. Former owner's inscription to head of volume I front free endpaper. CONDITION In half calf bindings, with paper covered boards. Minor losses of leather to back strip heads, otherwise externally excellent. Front hinge of volume I strained but firmly held. Bookplates to front pastedown, inscription to volume I front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned due to paper type, otherwise bright and generally clean.
