Description
Early Naval history books, in English, from the 1700s! Bound in full leather with red leather spine labels. 1750 second edition. Complete four volume set. Volumes 1 and 2 lost their volume numbers from the spines, the other two have them intact. Splitting between covers and spines, but boards still firmly attached at the cords. Some age toning on pages. All bindings are still tight. Previous owners name handwritten on first free end paper of volume one. 8" x 5" ea. Set needs 6.25" of shelf space. A couple pictures show white between some volumes, but that is just a problem with the editing tool; sorry.

The order was shipped promptly, securely wrapped, the content was preserved, free from underlining and markings. Although they were stamped from library, the Seller has an eye for rare findings. These will propel my researchs well beyond what is covered in physical classes. A bit pricey, but worth the investment. As Sir William Osler states: “It is hard for me to speak of the value of libraries in terms which would not seem exaggerated… I have received incalculable benefits.”

Item was as listed, in nice condition for its age. Packaging for shipping held up to the rigors of traveling from seller to buyer with no damage other than broken rubber motor mounts, no fault of the seller, just old age and rotting rubber...but easy to replace. Shipping charges were very reasonable given the weight of the item. Overall, I would say this was a good value for the money for a classic Tektronix oscilloscope. I'm a happy buyer.
